Gather⟫
Song by Prem Rawat
Empty-handed you were born,
Without anger, without scorn.
Then you grew and came to see,
Dreams were hollow as could be.
You blamed and blamed,
All the things that ever came.
You never saw what they were,
And that is a real shame.
Gather the love that came your way,
Hold it close, don’t let it stray.
Gather the grace that found your day,
Let it shine, let it stay.
Gather the truth that came to light,
Keep it warm, through every night.
Gather the kindness soft and bright,
Let it lead your heart aright.
Gather the good that came your way,
Piece by piece, day by day.
When the dark clouds drift and sway,
Love will light the road you take.
When the world feels cold and gray,
Still remember what came your way.
Every blessing, every ray,
Is a song that wants to stay
Gather the good that came your way,
Piece by piece, day by day.
When the dark clouds drift and sway,
Love will light the road you take.
